BCI, Centre begin 10-year plan to expand legal education in Hindi, regional languages

The Centre and the Bar Council of India have initiated a 10-year roadmap to expand legal education in Hindi and other Indian languages while retaining English as a key legal medium. The proposed bilingual framework, supported by AI tools and a national steering committee, aims to improve legal education, strengthen access to justice, and better prepare future legal professionals.
