‘Blazing Saddles’ named funniest film of all time by AFI as Mel Brooks turns 100

Mel Brooks, who turned 100 on Sunday 28 June, has been honoured by the American Film Institute, which named his 1974 Western satire the "funniest film of all time" - knocking 'Some Like It Hot' off the top spot.
