Delhi University tightens campus safety norms before new session, rolls out stricter anti-ragging measures

Ahead of the 2026–27 academic session, Delhi University has directed its colleges and affiliated institutions to tighten anti-ragging measures and strengthen campus discipline. The guidelines call for enhanced surveillance, confidential grievance mechanisms, faculty mentoring for freshers, identity verification and strict compliance with UGC regulations to ensure a safe, secure and inclusive learning environment for students.
