India’s Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan launched the CBSE Computational Thinking and Artificial Intelligence (CT & AI) curriculum for Classes III to VIII on April 1, marking the start of the 2026–27 academic session. Developed with NCERT, the curriculum provides structured learning modules, teacher handbooks, and student assessment frameworks. It integrates “AI for Education” and “AI in Education” strategies to nurture critical thinking, design skills, and innovation, positioning students to engage with emerging technologies and India’s growing technology-driven education ecosystem.
