IIT Delhi enters global top 50 in five major subjects in QS rankings 2026

IIT Delhi has entered the global top 50 in five major engineering and technology subjects in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026. Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, and Civil Engineering all improved significantly compared to last year. The institute continues to lead India in Engineering & Technology, with 12 subjects across Engineering, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences & Management now ranked in the top 100 globally.
