IIT Delhi innovations earn top honours at Sanrachna 2026 technical textiles hackathon

Three research innovations from IIT Delhi's Department of Textile and Fibre Engineering have been recognised among the top three innovative ideas at the Sanrachna 2026 Product Development and Design Hackathon. Held under the National Technical Textiles Mission, the competition attracted more than 700 applications, with 31 finalists. The award-winning projects focus on wound care, extreme cold protection and protective textiles for farmers. The innovators were felicitated by Union Minister Giriraj Singh.
