IIT Roorkee hydrologist Prof. Ankit Agarwal receives NASI Young Scientist Award 2026: Complete list

IIT Roorkee has announced that Prof. Ankit Agarwal from its Department of Hydrology has been selected for the National Academy of Sciences, India Young Scientist Award 2026. The award recognises his scientific contributions and includes a research incentive. Prof. Agarwal joined IIT Roorkee in 2019 and became an Associate Professor in 2025. His research spans hydrology, climatology and natural hazards, with previous academic experience in Germany.
