New Science Maps Asia’s Shark And Ray Hotspots And Exposes Major Conservation Gaps

Scientists mapped 122 Important Shark and Ray Areas across Asia covering ~1 million km², revealing that while these habitats support 121 species (many threatened), over 94% of them still fall outside marine protected areas.
