Payson Grotto in Payson, Utah

Grotto Falls is a lovely little gem! A short easy hike leads to a little enclosure with a pool of water (shallow enough for most children) fed by a small waterfall. You can bring a swimsuit and wade while enjoying the lovely surrounding nature. It is also possible to hike to the top of the waterfall. Wading is best in the summer because the water is cold, but in the fall the canyon trees light up with yellows, oranges, and reds and is especially beautiful.
