Surprise discovery as ancient domus uncovered beneath restoration site in Rome

A routine restoration project on Rome's Caelian Hill has led to the discovery of an ancient Roman building decorated with mosaics, frescoes and painted ceilings. Archaeologists have uncovered eight rooms dating back to the second century AD.
